Vanillapha is a Canadian technology company with two practices: our own consumer and enterprise products, and automation engineering for small businesses. We prefer to ship something modest and true rather than something loud and approximate — in our products, and in yours.

01 · Principles
Four ideas we are unwilling to bend.
Everything else — product choices, hiring, partner selection — is downstream of these.

Ship the thing.
We will not announce a roadmap we cannot ship. If it is not yet running, we will not pretend it is.

Quiet by default.
We do not buy attention. The work either earns it or it does not — and we are comfortable either way.

Compliance is a feature.
Privacy, retention, jurisdiction — these are designed in, not bolted on. A regulated product is a better product.

Long-horizon engineering.
We build for what we will still be using in five years. Today's shortcuts are tomorrow's incident reports.

The work came before the structure.
- Before 2026Products before the companyFantpage and CanCertify shipped under independent operation while the legal and capital structure took its time. We do not consider this a footnote — it is how we work.
- 2026Federal incorporationVanillapha Inc. is filed federally and registered to operate in Ontario. Existing products consolidate under the company.
- 2026Vocert ships on the App StoreVocert launches on iPhone and Apple Watch — the first product designed end-to-end inside the company structure, from cryptography to App Store.
- 2026 →The practice opens to clientsThe same engineering behind our products becomes a service: automation consulting and builds for Canadian small businesses — audit, build, run.
